The successful candidate will also be happy to work within a small team based in the South West of England and relish taking an active role in developing the entire business. Overall Responsibilities Planning direction and supervision of all fashion accounts working to monthly media targets on each account reporting to Company Director Daily liaison with journalists and relevant industry professionals to maintain regular product and editorial placement identifying Pr opportunities and pitching new feature angles Lead and motivate junior staff with energy and enthusiasm Translate strategy into seasonal programs and timelines Story generation and press release creation Execution of Monthly and final campaign reports meeting campaign targets Oversee and manage the timely reception of all seasonal brand collections and assets across all accounts Regular client liaison Seasonal press day planning and execution Oversee blog and social networking activity. Candidate requirements Must possess a broad knowledge of public relations and creative marketing including relevant in-house or agency experience Have a strong background in the promotion of lifestyle and fashion brands Exceptional writing skills for press releases media alerts and media kits as well as proposals and client communication Must have well developed and productive relationships with fashion and editorial teams across all media platforms including fashion and lifestyle publications trade media local national newspapers & supplements and broadcast in addition to high-traffic online properties Excellent organizational presentation and communication skills allowing one to effectively manage and support staff as well as present a persuasive and successful campaign proposal to clients Dedicated excellent time management skills and well presented Proficiency in Photoshop Word Excel Outlook across Mac and Pc and experience in social networking Must possess a keen interest in street-fashion boardsports and youth lifestyles. The role You will be responsible for driving all Pr client accounts forward hitting media coverage targets motivating and mentoring the team developing strategy with the objective of maintaining and developing the press office activity in order for the directors to procure new business and expand the Pr team.
